Google Ads audit

Wizards of Web Ltd · Saunders Ness Road · 23 October 2026

Conversion numbers from a Google Ads review
The first question in an audit is whether a conversion is a real enquiry. These figures are useless until that is true.

A Google Ads audit from Wizards of Web Ltd is a review of an account that is already spending. We look at conversion tracking, search terms, campaign structure, locations, and the landing pages the ads use. You get a written list of what is wasting money and what to change first. You can stop there, or ask us to manage the account afterwards.

What we inspect

Whether a conversion is a real enquiry or a page view. Which search terms have been buying clicks for months. Whether brand and non-brand traffic are mixed. Whether the budget is stuck in a campaign that cannot convert.

We also open the landing pages. Many accounts pay for clicks that arrive on a homepage which never mentions the thing in the ad.

What you receive

A short written review, in plain language, with the changes in the order we would make them. We name the searches and settings we saw. We do not hand over a slide deck of industry averages.

If tracking is broken, that is the first item. Nothing else in the account can be judged until the conversions mean something.

After the audit

Some clients take the notes to their current agency. Some ask us to make the changes. Management, if you want it afterwards, is a separate conversation.

Questions we get asked

What is a Google Ads audit?

It is a review of a live account: tracking, search terms, structure, locations and landing pages, with a written order of what to fix.

Do I have to move the account to you?

No. The audit is useful on its own. Management afterwards is optional.

What access do you need?

Read access to Google Ads, and a look at the landing pages. Analytics access helps when the Ads conversions do not match the enquiries you actually receive.

How much does the audit cost?

We don't display pricing. It changes with the speed of our development. Book a 30 minute meeting and we will talk it through.
